Community in Action

This winter, we’re asking you to help support your neighbours experiencing asylum-related destitution. Safe in Scotland is the main provider of accommodation for people experiencing asylum-related destitution in Scotland and has been preventing homelessness in this community since 2011.

In lieu of a standard winter hardship appeal, we’re partnering with local businesses and community members to show the real power and generosity of Glasgow.

You can show your support financially, by attending our screening of the critically acclaimed film, Limbo, at the Glasgow Film Theatre, by donating essential supplies and clothes, or shopping with one of our local retail and hospitality partners. Shopping locally this season not only helps us defend human rights, it also supports our community shops, cafes, and restaurants who have fought to stay open this year.

This is local community in action.
